Will it cost more than booking online myself?

Almost never, and often less. We see the same live fares you do, plus trade rates and launch offers that don’t appear on the comparison sites. Where an online price genuinely is cheaper we’ll say so, and we’ll usually be able to show you what’s been left out of it: transfers, checked luggage, gratuities, seat selection. The headline number and the number you actually pay are rarely the same.

Do you charge fees for planning my holiday?

No, and you won’t pay more for using us either. We’re paid a commission by the tour operator or cruise line out of their margin, not added onto your price. So the searching, the chasing and the sorting out costs you nothing on top of the holiday itself.

Is my money protected?

Yes, twice over. Heacham Travel is an ABTA member (P8615), so you’re covered if anything happened to us. Flight-inclusive holidays are ATOL protected through the operator, which covers you if they fail. You’ll get the certificate with your confirmation. It’s worth checking whether the online price you’re comparing against offers the same.

Can I fly from my local airport?

Usually yes, and it’s the question we’re asked most. Plenty of cruise lines now run fly-cruise packages from Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow and Dublin as well as the London airports. Regional departures often aren’t shown on the main booking sites, so tell us where you’d rather fly from and we’ll work backwards from there.

How does the enquiry process work?

Tell us roughly where, roughly when, and what you’d rather not go over. That’s enough to start. You’ll usually hear back the same day with honest options and real prices, from the same person who’ll handle the booking if you go ahead. No obligation, and no chasing if you decide against it.

Do you do cruises specifically?

Cruise is what we’re known for. We sell every major line including Royal Caribbean, P&O, Cunard, MSC, Princess, Celebrity and Azamara, and we book fly-cruise, no-fly sailings from UK ports, and cruise-and-stay. If you’ve never cruised before, matching the right ship to the right person makes more difference than the itinerary does.
